Saddle up and head for the hills! Let one of Spicers Hidden Vale’s horsemen to lead you on a leisurely horse riding experience taking in all the spectacular sights of the property's natural flora and fauna. Outside Day Riders and Group Bookings also welcome (maximum of 5 per group).
Note: Although the advertised minimum age is 12 – this depends on the ability of the rider and is for trail rides only. Children under the age of 12 years are also able to choose pony leads as an alternative. The participation discretion lies with the Spicers Hidden Vale Horsemen and if the young rider does not have the strength or ability, then they will not be permitted to ride. Safety will always come first. Many families participate in the trail rides (children over the age of 12 generally don’t have a problem) and it offers a unique holiday experience.

Spicers Hidden Vale boasts beautiful scenery and stunning mountain ranges with 4WD tracks taking you to the crest of them. Allow one of our experienced tour guides to lead you on an adventure encompassing the entire property.
The Sundowners Tour offers the best view of the sunset on the property, with this 2.5 hour tour. With photo opportunities at the Gorge along the way as well as wildlife spotting, your journey is well worth the trip with wine and cheese at the end while you watch the sunset over the Lockyer Valley.
Meat the Beef allows you to get up close and personal to the stock on the property, as well as a chance to see the Australian bush and wildlife.
Spicers Hidden Vale has an on-site archery range ideal for everyone from first timers to experienced Robin Hoods.
The home of numerous mountain bike races, including the renowned Flight Centre Epic, Spicers Hidden Vale is ideal for mountain bike enthusiasts. Explore the property on one of our mountain bikes or bring your own. All fitness levels are accommodated with many tracks on the property.
Capture a bird's eye view of this magnificent landscape with a scenic hot air balloon flight.
At the end of an action packed day on the property, there's nothing better than the feeling of slipping into the cool hillside rock pool and looking out over the valley at the distant mountains. A 20-metre lap pool is also available.
