“A beautiful inner city hotel. The breakfast served on the veranda - a lovely tranquil setting - with lots of thoughtful touches (such as a Sydney newspaper!), the coffee was perfectly made (I'm a fussy Sydney coffee snob) and the quality of food served was excellent. “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spicers Balfour. We normally stay in the big 5 star hotels but thought we would try something different this time and very pleased that we did. The service at Balfour was fantastic, very helpful and very friendly without being too over the top. Our room was lovely, we were upgraded to the balcony room (Room 1) overlooking a beautiful frangipani tree. Very comfortable king size bed, yummy turn down choc. We are very fussy travellers when it comes to cleanliness and decor and our room was very clean, and as the hotel is only 12months old the decor was in beautiful condition and very well kept.

The property is in a great location, with a very short walk to a number of excellent local restaurants and bars. We are also keen runners so the location was great for our morning runs, just a stones throw to the riverside running/bike pathways.
